My Story

Dear Padrinos, I feel blessed because you are present in my heart every day and I want to tell you a little more about my family and myself through this. This is Danilo Benito De La Cruz and let me tell you that Jesus is my only savior. I like to attend the thanksgiving service for our crops. LW team encouraged my mother to continue persevering in God`s path and she helped to collect this information for you.
Currently, my father is working as a farmer and day laborer. In addition, he has a small business in which he continues fixing flat tires. His name is Francisco Benito Hernandez. My mother`s name is Maria de la Cruz Bartolo and she tends our grocery store. Moreover, she does the housework. They are in good health and they are a hardworking couple.

I want to tell you that I am not studying this year because I do not want to continue, but I am helping my mother by tending the grocery store. I am thankful with God because he gave me wisdom to finish my primary school last year. He was always with me and I felt his presence in my heart. I identify with my mother because of her manner and she always takes care of me. Santiago is the name of my best friend. We like to ride a motorcycle when we have the opportunity. We met one year ago. I am a sixteen year old teenager and I am grateful because I am in good health.
