I am happy to say hello to you through this letter. My name is Jerman Domingo, and I hope you are doing well. Let me tell you that my family and I attend Life Christian Church on Mondays and Fridays. Fortunately, our health condition is good. My biological father passed away many years ago. I miss him a lot. My mother, Rosa Mendez, is 48 years old. She is a housewife and takes care of me. She established a new relationship with Mr. Antionio Chingo. He is 45 years old and works in a plant nursery to cover our needs. He does his best for us and I appreciate it. However, everything is expensive and it has been hard for him to support our family. Nowadays, we need groceries at home, especially corn. I am glad because I can attend the feeding program. It is a meansful project because I can receive delicious food. Actually, my family and I miss receiving grocery parcels from the LW staff. Those were a great help during the most challenging moments of the pandemic. We raise hens and harvest corn for our consumption. Unfortunately, we do not get enough legumes to consume the whole year. Therefore, we must buy it.
As for me, I want you to know that I am twelve years old. I am in fifth grade again. I agree to receive face-to-face classes because I can learn more lessons. As I told you before, my stepfather makes an enormous effort for my mom and me. However, it is hard for him to buy my school supplies since they are expensive. My biggest dream is to travel to the United States to earn my own income. Christmas time is the best! My family and I gather to celebrate and enjoy a delicious lunch. I like drinking juices and hot beverages like mosh (it is a typical hot drink). My birthday will be in October. My family and I do not have the custom of celebrating birthdays because of our low resources. To end this update, I want you to know that a teacher of the LW evangelism team spoke with my mother to collect all this information for you. Thank you so much for taking the time to read it! I will leave you now, but I hope to hear from you soon.
Special regards,
Jerman Domingo Jimon Mendez
