My Story

Hello! It is a good opportunity to greet you cordially and I hope you are receiving the blessings of God in your daily activities.  I want to share some news about my family and me through this little letter. I am Mesi Gustavo Aguilon Velasquez and I am 16 years old. I am a healthy boy. I am in 9th grade at school this year, and I go to study every morning. After that, I go to the market to help my mother to pack away the things that she uses in her fruit business. I like to play soccer on weekends. My favorite meal is beef patties. I want to let you know that LW has blessed my family and my life through the spiritual support, medical and dental clinics and grocery bags during the time we need them most. Moreover, I enjoyed receiving my special gift and hearing the story of Jesus’ birth and the special ornaments during the Christmas season in the Feeding Center. My family is grateful for every benefit that I receive from the Ministry.

My mother`s name is Maria Teresa Velasquez.  She lives with us and she is in good health. Currently, she continues selling fruits in the market in order to support us financially since my father abandoned the family. My father`s name is Erick Jeremias Aguilon. He works for a company distributing construction materials, and he provides for our needs only when he wants. My mother has to call and ask him for the economic support for us.  I ask for your prayers for my family because our finances are being affected due to the low sales in the market. We are attending the Catholic Church and we believe in God. I accepted Jesus in my heart 3 years ago. The LW teacher shared the gospel and encouraged us to continue seeking God. I hope you like to read my letter and may God bless you always! (My sister Maria Haide provided this information to the Evangelism Teacher)

Huge hugs,

Mesi Gustavo Aguilon Velasquez
