I am Maria Magdalena, and I am happy to write this letter and talk about my life and family. I turned 17 last December, and I stopped attending school this year due to our lack of money. Now, I sometimes work as a maid in my town I want to help my family financially. I would like to ask for your prayers for my grandparents because they are having health issues and are taking medicine. My grandpa, Tereso, suffers from gastritis and diabetes, and my grandma, Catarina, suffers from body pain. They are in their seventies, so they do not work away from home, and my grandma raises hens, sheep and pigs for selling. Due to my mother’s handicap, my sibling and I are under the care and responsibility of my grandparents. She stays at home helping to look after our domestic animals. My grandmother is a good role model for me because she gives me good advice. Another important relative for me is my brother Eliseo. We have always been good friends, and we like playing soccer.
My family and I are part of Liberty Church, and I love it when we celebrate the “First fruits” Service. I want to share with you an experience that I recently went through. My grandfather got sick at the beginning of this year, and he was about to die. He was rushed to the public hospital because he was feeling so bad due to his current diseases; my uncle Hector took him to the hospital. Thankfully, he is better now. The good thing about it was that I could feel God’s presence in my life in that difficult moment. Jesus is my faithful friend. In this occasion, my grandfather helped me to give my information to the Evangelism team. They have always shared God’s Word with us and encouraged us to trust and depend on Him. We are assured of our Salvation. Well, I say goodbye to you for now. May God bless you!
Cordially yours
Maria Magdalena Tzoy Ruiz
