My Story

Hello! I greet you cordially hoping you are doing fine and receiving the blessings of our Lord Jesus in your daily activities. I hope you enjoy reading my updated 2024 information because I want to share with you some news about my family and me through this. First of all, I want to let you know that my family and I are grateful for every benefit that I receive from LW Ministries because it has been a great blessing for my life.

My mother`s name is Mayra Griselda Gonzalez. She lives with us, but you know that she suffers from her kidneys and cannot work because she receives a special treatment called “hemodialysis” three days per week. Also, she suffers from high blood pressure, but she is under medical treatment. She stays at home resting after the hemodialysis process because it is so hard, and she feels very weak. Thankfully, my stepfather continues working as a nurse in order to support us financially. His name is Carlos Raul Soberanis Barillas. He lives with the family and he is a healthy man. Unfortunately, my biological father is not helping us economically, and we know nothing about him.  As a family, we are attending the Catholic Church called “Santo Cura de Arce”. The LW teacher shared the gospel with my grandmother during the visit and she is grateful for the advice because she believes in God. I would like to ask for your prayers for my mother`s health.

I am Hamy Giselle Barrios Gonzalez and I am 16 years old. I am a healthy girl and I am in 9th grade at school this year and I go to study in the morning.  I spend my weekend doing the chores at home and I like to do exercises.  My favorite meal is black beans with cream. I want to let you know that LW Ministries has blessed my family and my life with grocery bags during the time we needed them most and with medicines in the medical clinic. I enjoyed receiving the special gift during the Christmas Celebration in the Feeding Program. This is all for now and I send you many blessings! (My grandmother Ana Ramirez provided this information to the LW teacher)

Kisses and hugs,

Hamy Giselle Barrios Gonzalez
