My Story

It is such a great blessing to write this letter to you. How are you doing? I am Silvia Dominga Tzoy de la Cruz, and I am delighted to share how God has been faithful to my loved ones and me. I am 20 years old, and I am dedicated to weaving typical belts to sell. I am glad because this allows me to help my family a little economically. Because of our limitations, we sometimes have trouble buying food or medicine when somebody is sick.  However, Jesus has never left us alone. He is God’s son and the savior of the world. As proof of his love and care, my siblings and I are doing well.

About my parents, let me tell you that my mother has had health issues for a long time. She usually suffers from headaches and heartburn. She went to the doctor and got medicine, but she has not felt better. So please pray for her healing. I am grateful to the Lord for having a loving and understanding mother like her. She is dedicated to taking care of our family, while my father works as a day laborer in our village. I am glad because he is doing well. We are part of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Church. There are many activities at church, but we enjoy taking part in the patron feast of our town (it is a yearly celebration dedicated to a saint, which includes religious and cultural activities). To end this update, I want to share that I made a good friend when I was a child. Her name is Catarina, and we usually go to the feeding program together and play freeze tag. Until next time!
