My Story

Hello! I am so happy to write this letter and share a little about my life with you. I hope you find this engaging. This is Maria Veronica Tzoy de la Cruz, and I am 14 years old. My birthday was in October. I was in sixth grade last year. I no longer continue studying because my father cannot afford my education. Today, I keep busy helping my mother with the chores. I am doing well. Despite our economic limitations, my father does his best to bring food home. He makes a living as a day laborer. I am sure the Lord is encouraging him not to give up. At my church, I have learned that Jesus is God’s son and our Savior. My family and I are part of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Church. There are many activities at church, but we enjoy taking part in the patron feast of our town (it is a yearly celebration dedicated to a saint, which includes religious and cultural activities).

I want to share that I love and admire my mother so much because of her good sense of humor and kindness. Please pray for her healing. She has suffered from headaches and heartburn for a long time. She went to the doctor and got medicine, but she has not felt better. Despite her health issues, she dedicates her full time to taking care of our family. This is all for now, but I want you to know that my mother and a member of the LW staff helped me write this letter for you. See you later!
