Hello, my name is Renato Jolla, and I am 15 years old and my birthday is in March. I live with my two parents and my two younger sisters in a village in the community of Pogradec. One of my sisters was just born recently, and is still very young, so my mother has to take care of her a lot and is tired most of the day. My other younger sister is deaf, and can not speak, so my mother has to take care of her too. Me and my father help when we can as well. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed because of all the responsibilities at home, but I love spending time with my friends and family. I love my sisters, but having two sisters is a lot of girls and sometimes I wish I had a brother. I have my friends though. I am doing very well physically as is my family. I want to be a football player when I grow up. My favorite subject in school is physical education, and I play football with my friends a lot. We do not have a nice field to play in though, we play where we can though, and I am getting good at football. My mother works around the house a lot along with taking care of my baby sister. Sometimes I will help her around the house or take care of my baby sister. We have a field where we grow some oats, alfalfa, and some other plants. We grow the food to feed our cow so we can get milk and other dairy products from it. My father does not work at home, but he works for part of the year in Macedonia. He goes to Macedonia so he can provide for our family, because we have to pay the bills and buy food. We do not have a car, but we find ways to get around. Living Water Adopt a Child has a program where we get packages every once in a while with food ingredients in it. We cook with the ingredients, and the food my mother makes is very good. I need good food if I am to become a football player, and the packages help a lot. I get to go to Bible study meetings with my friends, and we get to hang out after the Bible study. I enjoy doing this, and I am very grateful to the Adopt a Child program for making this possible. Thank you for helping me physically and spiritually!
