I greet you fondly, hoping you are having a fantastic day with your loved ones. I am Tomasa, and I want to share my last news with you. I live with my parents and two brothers. We attend The Source of Life Church; we usually attend our services on Thursdays. My father, Jose Grave, is 34 years old. He traveled to the United States about three years ago. Nowadays, he works on a farm and sends us money to cover our needs. My mother, Lucia Mejia, is 32 years old. She dedicates her time to the household chores. Besides, she raises hens and pigs and grows corn and beans for our consumption. Thankfully, we are in good health. I am eight years old nowadays. I receive face-to-face classes as a second grader. I like this study method because I learn the lessons better at school.
I look up to my mother because she is a very good housewife, so I would like to be like her when I am older. In addition, I would like to learn how to speak English. Christmastime is the best of the year, so I love it. I like drinking soft drinks and a hot beverage made of corn dough, sugar, and cinnamon; we called it “atol de masa”. My birthday was in February, but I did not celebrate it. My favorite sport is soccer and I wonder what is yours? Now, let me tell you that my family and I are grateful to you for blessing my siblings and me with delicious food through LW. A teacher of the evangelism team spoke with my mother and shared the gospel with her. She also collected this information for you. Thank you so much for reading my letter! I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope to hear from you soon.
Many kisses and hugs,
Tomasa Grave Mejia
