My Story

Hello! I send you every kind of blessing through this, and I hope you are doing fine when my letter reaches you.  My family and I are attending the same Christian Church, and we believe in God. I like to attend the Sunday Bible classes, and as a family, we continue seeking God. My paternal grandmother provided all this information to the LW teacher during the visit.

I am an 11-year-old healthy girl, and my name is Deily Jimena Cabrera Morales. I am studying the 5th grade at school this year. Let me tell you that we had a trip to Panajachel village. The trip was organized by my church and it was a nice experience in my life. I felt the presence of God in my heart, and I learned more about his word through this activity. I admire my grandmother because she loves me. I love her as if she were my own mother. I have a good connection with her I have a best friend. Her name is Andrea and we have been friends for 1 year. We play together and I like our friendship.

My father is in good health and I want to tell you that he is living and working in the United States. He continues working as a mason and he supports us financially. He sends money every 20 days to cover our expenses. His name is Jorge Luis Cabrera Rucal. He always is in communication with us. My grandmother Maria Estela Rucal Otzin is taking care of us. We live with herRecently, she had a surgery in her knees. She is recovering and is taking medicines. She has some difficulty walking, but fortunately she is under medical treatment from the social security from Guatemala. My father sustains our family financially. I would like to ask for your prayers for my grandmother`s health.  I say good bye for now and I hope to have news about you soonI send you all my love!

Warm wishes,

Deily Jimena Cabrera Morales
